Meet our Friendly, Dental Team!

Susan Hirshfield, Office Administrator

Office Administrator, SusanSusan is who we rely on to keep both our team and our patients organized, and we couldn’t go a day without her! She has nearly 30 years of experience in dentistry, and her favorite part of her job is still getting to meet and talk with our patients. Susan is originally from Framingham, MA and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She went on to get a masters from Wheelock College in Special Education, and she taught in pre-school until her children were born. She and Dr. Hirshfield have 2 grown sons, and when she can, she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, cycling, decorating, traveling, and doing crossword puzzles.

Julie, Certified Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant, SusanJulie has been a member of our team for four years and counting. She attended Massasoit Community College and is also trained in first aid, CPR, and BLS. She loves meeting and interacting with people through her job! She used to be a nervous patient at the dentist’s office, and she’s always happy to help put the minds of other nervous patients at ease during their appointments.

Julie is from Norwood, and her family consists of her parents, three siblings, their spouses, and a whopping 10 nieces and nephews. When she isn’t busy at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, shopping, and traveling. She actually used to be a certified preschool teacher for five years before her current position, so she’s great with her special nieces and nephews and our young patients.

Lubka, Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant, LubkaLubka is originally from Velingrad, Bulgaria, which was a communist country at the time. She and her family grew up watching the American TV show Dallas, and although it was supposed to teach them the evils of capitalism, they fell in love with everything they saw and chose to come to the United States. Today, she has been a member of our dental team for nine years so far, with 12 overall year spent in the world of dentistry. She attended the Boston Career Institute’s Dental Assisting Program. What she enjoys most about the work she does is the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. She also loves being able to help patients overcome dental fears!

Lubka is married and has two full-grown sons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, walking, and going out with her friends.

Holly, Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist, HollyHolly has been working in dentistry for an impressive 35 years so far, having spent the last eight as a member of our practice. Originally from Medfield, MA, she attended Middlesex Community College. She is also trained in CPR, BLS, and anesthesia. She loves building such wonderful relationships with her patients over time.

Holly has two daughters who are currently in college, as well as a Chocolate Lab named Bruno. Her interests include reading, going to the beach, being outdoors, and spending lots of time with friends and family. She’s actually undergone a fair amount of dental work herself over the years, including oral surgery to realign her jaw and orthodontic treatment for two years when she was 38. She is also engaged to be married towards the end of 2018!

Elaine, Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist, ElaineElaine has been working in dentistry for over 25 years! She received her education from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University. She is also certified in CPR, emergency medical training, and OSHA. She attends the Yankee Dental Conference yearly for continuing education opportunities as well. What she likes best about her job is being able to educate and motivate her patients so that they can achieve optimal oral health and love their smiles. Also, her coworkers/friends help make every day wonderful.

Elaine and her husband Brian have three children. Her oldest daughter is a teacher, and she and her husband (a Marine veteran and police officer) had their first granddaughter in November 2016. Her son works as a technical program manager and her youngest daughter is in her senior year of college. She also has two dogs named Lexi and Roo. When she has free time, she enjoys staying physically active through a number of activities (Yoga, spinning, Zumba, etc), shopping, cooking, dining out, attending the theatre and dance performances, and spending time with loved ones. Her daughter calls her an “Extreme Savings Shopper!”
