Meet our Friendly, Dental Team!
Susan Hirshfield, Office Administrator
Susan is who we rely on to keep both our team and our patients organized, and we couldn’t go a day without her! She has nearly 30 years of experience in dentistry, and her favorite part of her job is still getting to meet and talk with our patients. Susan is originally from Framingham, MA and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She went on to get a masters from Wheelock College in Special Education, and she taught in pre-school until her children were born. She and Dr. Hirshfield have 2 grown sons, and when she can, she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, cycling, decorating, traveling, and doing crossword puzzles.
Julie, Certified Dental Assistant
Julie has been a member of our team for four years and counting. She attended Massasoit Community College and is also trained in first aid, CPR, and BLS. She loves meeting and interacting with people through her job! She used to be a nervous patient at the dentist’s office, and she’s always happy to help put the minds of other nervous patients at ease during their appointments.
Julie is from Norwood, and her family consists of her parents, three siblings, their spouses, and a whopping 10 nieces and nephews. When she isn’t busy at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, shopping, and traveling. She actually used to be a certified preschool teacher for five years before her current position, so she’s great with her special nieces and nephews and our young patients.
Holly, Dental Hygienist
Holly has been working in dentistry for an impressive 35 years so far, having spent the last eight as a member of our practice. Originally from Medfield, MA, she attended Middlesex Community College. She is also trained in CPR, BLS, and anesthesia. She loves building such wonderful relationships with her patients over time.
Holly has two daughters who are currently in college, as well as a Chocolate Lab named Bruno. Her interests include reading, going to the beach, being outdoors, and spending lots of time with friends and family. She’s actually undergone a fair amount of dental work herself over the years, including oral surgery to realign her jaw and orthodontic treatment for two years when she was 38. She is also engaged to be married towards the end of 2018!
